No Time Too Late, No Problem Too Great.

I remember my mother taking me to school one day.  I can’t recall what actually happened but I forgot to ask my sister to help me with my homework. I remembered my homework was undone just about thirty minutes to the school gate.
I became terrified at once that I stood motionless. My mom stared at me for some time and asked what was wrong. All I could say was that, it was too late since my sister was not around to help me with it now. That was when she smiled and said “son, there is no time too late, and there is no problem too great, bring out the book”.
As hopeless as it seemed, I brought out this book. It was then that I found a sheet of paper just where I had written the assignment. I unfolded it and behold there was my sister’s handwriting. She had given me all I needed to do my work. I smiled and hurriedly completed the work in a few minutes.

It was just until recent that this statement hit me again. This memory became vivid when I saw these young people trying to fix pot holes on the road by themselves. People were amazed as to the work they had done. Apparently, the drivers saw it to be too tedious a work to be done . So they had given up on those pot holes. But these young champs proved them wrong. They spent the whole day on the job and surprisingly, asked for nothing in return.

I sat for a moment and thought about it. We always have solutions very close to us but we bind ourselves with fear and time limits without even trying.
It is not bad to set goals but that should only be there to guide you and not discourage yourself when you feel it is difficult to reach those goals. After all, in an examination, you choose which question you trust you know well and answer them first before tackling those you doubt.
Try applying it here. You don’t need to travel before you start a business and get rich. You can as well start a business here, get rich and travel. It’s just a matter of staying focused, being on the same path and moving on. It is never late. You can do it no matter the situation.
